We, the seniors of 19 60, will the reading of this last will and testament to the Junior Class. Will History At the beginning of our ninth year at Burma, we obtained six more slaves at a cheap price. Due to the mental strain we put her through, we lost our mistress, Mrs. Hahn, and gained new masters. The increase in number was due to our increased rowdiness. Our masters were Mrs. Dutcher, Mr. Luttman, and Miss Disney. The slaves now numbered seventeen and were as follows: Jodine Keyes, Marilyn Kritenbrink, Scott Luttman, Herman Hibbeler, Jerry Stones, Jane Sass, Janette Sass, Janet Price, Robert Bruning, Beverly Daniels, Suzanne Thulin, Sheila Hagan, Nancy Osborn, Barbara Metzger, Howard Engberg, Kay Hike, and Gary Iske. On our tenth stop in Brazil, three of our slaves—Jerry Stones, Bob Bruning, and Beverly Daniels—tried to escape and were strangled by boa constrictors. We were sorry to see this decrease in our group, but so goes life in the jungle. We were now fourteen. We also obtained a new master, Mr. Dowling, who undertook the job of a former mistress, Mrs. Dutcher. At the beginning of our eleventh year in the slave trade, we journeyed to Ethiopia, where Suzanne Thulin was caught in the swamps and sucked under by quicksand. There were now thirteen slaves remaining. We gained Mr. Brandenburg, Mrs. Dyer, and Mr. Know, and lost Mr. Dowling and Miss Disney as masters. Our last year in slavery was one of tension and confusion. This year was spent in Cuba. The slaves remaining for the last year are as follows: Howard Engberg, Herman Hibbeler, Gary Iske, Scott Luttman, Sheila Hagan, Marilyn Kritenbrink, Jane Sass, Janette Sass, Barbara Metzger, Janet Price, Jodine Keyes, Kay Hike, and Nancy Osborn. The slaves who lasted throughout the entire journey were Howard Engberg, Kay Hike, Barbara Metzger, Janet Price, Nancy Osborn, and Sheila Hagan. During our last year we also acquired a new leader, Mr. Bouska and two new slavedrivers, Mr. Ahl and Mrs. Joseph. 9
