Senior Week, including senior picnic, senior workday X v, , 5 rg Q If Y ,V ,yr 'Wk ,, , ff-egg 35 . .se . 0 ' 5: f A ,,.f This year, for the first time since the opening of Plantation High School, a Senior Week was held. The Class of '71 sponsored a week-long set of activities immediately after mid-term exams, Tuesday, January 26. On that day, seniors held a picnic at Birch State Park. Everyone brought their own food and free cokes were supplied by the class' treasury. Wednes- day, January 27, was Senior Work Day, an annual event. Seniors did not have to attend school on that day if they worked and those who worked were required to turn in a minimum of 85.00. The money goes toward a scholarship fund. On Thursday, Jan- uary 28, seniors were allowed to swap places with a teacher and instruct their classes for a day. A. Seniors Bob Johnson, Jeff Pood, Vicky Hill, Bob Van Kirk, Lori Horner devour their food at the senior picnic. B. Senior boys participate in a football game during the picnic. C. Patty Greco works hard for Senior Work Day. D. Seniors Don Lundy and Patty Greco load the flower truck during the Work Day. E. Seniors Bob Johnson and Dottie lVlay enjoy the fried chicken at the picnic.
