On October 24, 1970, 54 girls paraded across the stage in formals, looking their best, Judges made the eliminations, then 25 contestants made their way across stage once more. Then the moment of suspense arrivedp the announcement of the 1971 Calendar Girls. As the names were called, there were screams of joy and excitement. As they stood on stage, judges called out their months and last of all the 1971 Cover Girl, Miss Linda Podolsky. ' H 954, .wfiff , , ,, M B. A. Senior Peggy Smith is named Miss May. B. June is rep- resented by senior Diane Douglas. C. Excitement and happiness are expressed by girls as the announcement of the winners is made. D. Senior Donice Oldack becomes Miss July for 1971. E.
