New equipment added to the department made the individual sports a pleasure to participate in. Seasonal activities, carry-over sports and physical fitness testing made up the year's curriculum. The teaching staff was increased by three, decreas- ing the amount of heaIth conscious enthusiasts who fibbed on those dreaded sit-ups, liver twisters etc.
