'iw 116' ,4 kv' .WM Besides compiling a season record of 10-0, cap- turing the title of BCAC lBroward County Athletic Conferencel champions, being the number one team in District AA, and number four in the entire state, the PHS varsity football team also earned many individual awards. At the conclusion of the football season, coaches of the District AA teams voted on an All-Conference team, a squad comprised of players of the 7AA teams who the coaches felt did the best job in their playing position. Along with this team, two other teams called All- County, were chosen. Both the Miami Herald and the Fort Lauderdale News each selected a District 7AA football squad made up of those whom they felt did an outstanding job. 334
