Powder Puff sponsors, Interact, place second in skits A. B. l we l ....-J if C. Doc Butterworth, a member of the Rotary Club, never could have guessed what he was in for when he volunteered again this year to sponsor Interact. Carrying a membership of 70 enabled a hilarious but successful Powder Puff game between both the seniors and juniors which concluded in a tie score. Teaming with Anchor in both hall and skit competition, Interact gained instant recognition among all students who participated in the Home- coming festivities. Open membership was declared and the members who held the offices are as follows: Tom Zipperly, president, vice-president, Phil Eason, sec- retary, Butch lVliskelly, treasurer, Scott lVlcDaniel, chaplain, Dennis Owens and John Coan, sergeant at arms. Civinettes, in its second year in existence, proved itself by taking first place in the float competition during the Homecoming festivities. Teaming up with Civitan a banquet was given in honor of Nlr. Hanes and lVlr. Laughton with plaques presented to each signifying honorary membership. Civinette's service projects consisted of social work done through juvenille court and Christmas and Easter parties given for the children enrolled at the Economic Opportunity Child Care Center.
