Juniorettes has had many worthwhile and constructive service pro- jects this past year. They gave alot of themselves to support a small child in Hong Kong, and also made toys for children in community hospitals as Christmas gifts. Their money making projects consisted of sponsoring the Calendar Girl Contest, and selling the calendar. The Juniorette's hard work this year earned them many awards. They received the rating of first place on their Homecoming skit, second place on their halls, and third place on their float. Members for the service club were chosen by 60W voting, and 4O'Z, lottery. Juniorettes consisted of seventy-two students this past year. Officers were: Leslie Barnes, president: Berni Amici, vice-president: Peggy Smith, corresponding secretary: Wendy lVlaitre, recording secretary: Cathy Schakel, trea- surer, Patty Goins, sergeant of arms, Allyson Friel, parliamentarian. Key opened the door to a successful year with the election of officers headed by president, Marshall llllontagnag vice-president, Scott Camerong secretaries, Jack Frost and Steve Wheeler, and treasurer, Paul Blanchard. All the guys played cupid with trusty arrows for the annual Dating Game. The cement blocks in the parking lot were painted white as a service to the school. Membership was open to anyone wishing to join. lVlr. John Wash- burn and lVlr. Vincent Offerman kept the guys from tearing down the rampant of PHS as they worked.
