Major news headlines last January were proclaiming giant roadblocks and traffic jams caused by girls carrying canisters and wearing little blue dresses. Later investigations revealed they were PHS Exchangettes collecting for the March of Dimes, one of their many service projects. They also collected canned goods for the Salvation Army, held a Christmas party for Head Start children, collected for Mental Health, and baked Christmas cakes and cookies for the teachers.
