Girls A thletic A ssociation sponsors all female basketball A. B. lVluscle-toned figures, and health improvement may result from being a GAA member. This club was open to the entire student body of girls. There were approximately 50 to 55 members this year. Candy apples and cup cakes were sold as their money making project. Awards for sportsmanship and outstanding service were given out to deserving girls. Second place in the Lauderhill Mall Halloween Window Painting Contest illustrated this fact. They held art exhibits, several local shows and also plan to build a sculpture in the patio area. President Steve Grossman led the group's activities. The goal of the Art Club was to provide a scholarship fund to a worthy senior enrolled in art. They have an annual program each year. Car washes and bake sales supported the annual presentation at the conclusion of the school year. Patricia Lee of the Physical Education Department sponsored. A. President, Cindy Baehmer, practices at shooting a basket. B. GAA members participate in many sports. C. Sheryl Bullington is first in line to make a basket. D. The exercise machine helps Nlodern Dance members get in shape. E. Nlod- ern Dance members use record player to keep in step during dance number. F. Two members display skill in arm move- ment.
