Instead of going to Berlin this year, the German Club went to Tallahasee for the Florida Association of Students of German convention. Mrs. A. K. Smith and Miss L. M. Moore accompanied the twenty-one students in their travels. To raise money the German Club sponsored a car wash and a swap meet. They held a fiesta to celebrate the twelfth night , of Christmas. The climax came when they broke the pinata. The club carried a membership of forty-eight with Miss Juliet Gevedon and Mrs. Nisa Crutchfield as co- sponsors. Members visited places of business and hosted several guest speakers. Guiding the club through meetings, Bev Baumgartner, presi- dent, Debbie Robinson, vice-president, and Gloria Sweet, sec- retary-treasurer. Business education instructors, Mrs. Minshew and Mrs. O'Conner officiated as sponsors. F.S.A. was classified as purely an interest club and was not required to sponsor any money-making projects.
