The wrestling team was divided into 12 weight classes as 36 boys fought in the wrestling competition. Coach Stanislavviski felt that for a school that had just started wrestling as a sport this year, the forecast was very g. od. Golf at PHS has long been and remains one ofthe strongest sports offered. Beginning with 15 consecutive wins, Plantation's team had another remarkable season. High school teams compete from Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties against the Colonels as few even challenge the ability of the Colonel golf team. The team was led by seniors, Rick Hmielewski, Jim Minnet, Rick Chase and juniors: Jim Hupp, Bob Delsanter, and Dave Court.
