Y' WEEK Mr. Dale Rice shows much school spirit on Punk Rock Day. Spirit Week builds up everyone's excitement for Homecoming. This year we had Cowboy Day, Tourist Day, Punk Rock Day, Dress-up Day, and Raider Color Day. For each day, two people were chosen the best costumed and received two tickets to the Homecoming game and dance. The winners for Cowboy Day were Tonya Green and Ed Leffler. Tourist Day, Kelly Wood and Cory Kirkland. Punk Rock Day, Lynn Kirby and Joe Hogue. Dress-up Day, Kathy Elston and Eddie Swain. Raider Color Day, Karen Hofhenke and Gene Fender. Excelling in academics and nominated by their teachers, many students were thrilled with just a nomi- nation. Only 30 students could be chosen as the 1982 Senior Superlatives. These 30 students were chosen by their peers from the list of teacher nominations. Every student elected has been actively involved in several different clubs and organizations and has contributed much to his school and fellow classmates.
