A DREAM CCJME TRUE Fantastic pictures for a FANTASTIC year of bas- ketball. The Raiders worked endlessly at practice and games to become Florida's State Class 4A Champions - an honor for which everyone is very proud. The players on the team were especially ex- ceptional. David Kelley and Greg Gillman received the Polk County players of the year award. Greg also received an Honorable Mention award. Horace Broadnax received the Hillsborough County Player ofthe Year award. Horace was also chosen to play on the All State Basketball team and the All South Basketball team. Broadnax was awarded a scholar- ship from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. for his exceptional ability in basketball. The team as a whole was GREAT , Their record was 24-5. The playoff games were as follows: Leto 75-63 King 54-52 Brandon 65-60 Clearwater 63-59 Kathleen 74-73 Miami Jackson 70-69 Jacksonville Forrest 73-61 1981-'82 STATE CLASS 4A CHAMPIONS Autograph 319
