'i I 97 '- 1,1 3 w! r This year has been the best year for the flag corps at PCHS since l have been here. l have had more cooperation and most of all dedication. I believe the corps can only improve from here, remarks sponsor Linda Norton. Pride and skill are just a few of the many requirements it takes to develop a successful squad. In August the guard proudly marched onto the field of Tampa Stadium to perform a fantastic pre- game and halftime show as the Bucs faced the New England Patriots. They added much enthusiasm to the crowds throughout their performances. To help raise money for the band, they took part in a fund raising project, and also sold ads to support the football program. They marched at FBA, Pride of Kathleen, Strawberry Festival Parade, Christmas Parade, and other competitions such as Solo S Ensemble. They held pizza parties, Christmas parties, end of the year parties, and the annual spring banquet.
