Glover 's main concern this year, as any year is . . . to be genuine and show empathy for the persons with whom I come in contact. TCJNY ROPER A FAlVllLlAR FACE Deputy Tony Roper was the new resource officer. He served as resource officer at Tomlin Junior High and says, Plant City students are much more mature. This is mainly because they have more responsibility, such as driving to school. Roper likes working with young people and finds his job satisfying and indeed, interest- ing. He would like to establish a trust between the students and himself and would also like for them to realize that he is there to help them, not to hurt or punish them.
