The fourth onnuol Renaissance Faire was an all day celebration oround the school pond. Activities ranged from an archery contest to a children's play performed by students from the Theater Depart- ment. The opening ceremonies feotured the grand presentation of the Lord and Lody of the day dressed in medieval costume. Most campus clubs sponsored booths. German Club's hot pretzels, Key Club's snow cones, and French Club's postries were popular refreshment stands. Horticulture sold hanging baskets and Fashion Design students set up a store to sell clothing. -quxllullll Rv Q? gi Lord and Lady of Renaissance, Russ Melby and Cynthia McCrann, stroll the campus overseeing the day 's activities, SO X Student Life 'sl ,,.r' 4 Q ff .4 'KY' The opening of the Renaissance festivities are announced by a trumpet blast from the royal Faire archer.
