Cffice Of The Supermtendent Planoffexae Dear Students of Plano High School: Another successful year is rapidly approaching an end. As I look back over the accomplishments of this year, I share with you a feeling that all of us-students, parents, board of education, and teachers--have done a splendid job of transforming our school work from a war-time to a peace-time basis. This student body has shown that you can take it, for you have carried out your assign- ments and have accepted your responsibilities like young men and women. This proves that you have not been just simply good, but good for something and that you have not wasted your time in the pursuit of worthless goals. Boys and girls, you have demonstrated in many ways that sac- rifices must be made to obtain an education. You have your school activities in such a way as to demonstrate type of school spirit., You have developed and applied principle of sportsmanship in your athletic program by Wcheersn instead of Hjeersn to your opponents. All of carried on the highest that fine offering these things are significant of a well balanced student and I want to congratuf late you on your attainment of this high standard of citizenship.
