We, the first Freshman Class of Plainville High School, entered in September of 1939 ninety' eight strong. Enthusiasm and willingness to be helpful were noticeably present in all of the class activities. The class had representatives on every team, either reserve or varsity. Although the Seventh Grade is the youngest class in school, it ranks high in participation and in number. The seventyfiive pupils have come from three different schools and all have worked well together. Many boys and girls have taken part in the Junior High athletic events.
