CLASS OFFICERS CLASS OF '69 Well, as Seniors, we can sav We'rc educated. . .and it took us onl four . Y years. But what a four years! What were those years like? It's really hard to describe. . .busy, frustrating. rewarding, fun. As Freshmen. we thought we were super cool . not knowing that the upper- classmen were laughing at our stupid actions and mistakes. Like in previous years, we attended orientation and like years before, the lecture went in one ear and out the other. Then came our sophomore year. No longer considered the lowest rank, our super cool class now looked at school differently. Tak- ing a look at the other classes around us, we saw for the first time how unique and brilliant our class really was. Sophomores--we thought we knew it all. juniors, upperclassmen, suddenly we didn't know it all. For some reason. we began listening to advice and became concerned about the future. Our class- rooms no longer were just rooms with four walls where we gave teachers a bad time, but they became a place where we learned to work together and had fun putting on our junior Play and helping each other for our Prom. Now, as Seniors. we're beginning to see life as it really is. The super cool class of '69 has accomplished many things. But there is one thing which stands out. We no longer look at each other a group, but as individuals, each with his own ideas, thoughts, and beliefs. And we have come to respect and like each other for what we, as individuals. believe in and stand for. Four years--parties, basketball games, track meets. the coaches worry, a wrestler's desire, a golfer's club. football practice, fire batons, pompoms, a diploma. We're beginning to ask the right questions and draw many of our own conclusions. The super cool class of 'o9 after four years of observance has now reached the conclusion that the noon hour still isn't long enough. CLASS OFFICERS CLASS OF '70 The juniors have really been on the go this year. They went from house to house selling magazines, and did an outstanding job as salesmen. This money helped them finance the annual junior- Senior Prom. The juniors have been great help to the Seniors. In just a few months the class of '70 will be run- ning the school. No longer will they have to worry about seeing the speaker at an assembly, for they will dominate the first four rows of seats. We've had lots of fun with the groovy juniors this year. We wish them the best of luck in everything they do. SOPH CLASS OFFICERS CLASS OF'7I Vi m:Ah Cindy Adams W., The Class of '7l is the greatest bunch of Sophomores yet. ,LW, if 1 5 3 53 :Ei They have proved to be the most daring and adventuresome. ff ,.--. - And like all Sophomores before them, this was their year to see how much they could get by with before the teachers lowered the boom. Class rings were the big decision this year. After a few disagreements and a few brilliant speeches the tough Sophs came through with a sharp looking Class ring. You should be able to identify a member of the class of '71 by the impression you get by 'looking at his class ring. Will We remember running over to lunch or those morning announcements which we heard each day? High school is made of things like Pep Club bus tickets and standing in the hall talking to a guy, if you're lucky enough to date. High school class rings and committee meetings to plan Prom. It's the sweetness of victory and riding around after the game. High school is sleeping through class except for current event days when everyone argues. We hope that this yearbook will bring back these and other wonderful memories of High School-1969. The Staff 128 A UTO GRA PHS A UTO GRA PHS
