Gladys Glctzbach and Keith Williams were selected from the junior class. To be elgible for the Honor Society you must meet the following requirements Leadershic, Scholorship, Character and Service. Each year 51 of the junior class and 151 of the senior class are choosen. In 1938 the National Honor Society of Secondary schools established a chapter in Plainville. Ada Dougherty, Joyce Hilgers, Kathleen Rempe, Louie Rempe, Orlan Hendren, Betty Jane Dougherty, Bill Patterson, Betty Lou Kirkman, Joy Carmichael, Charlene Baker and Norma Lee Wilkinson are the members who have been elected since 1938. ll Representative.... .. .. ... . ....Bernice Mock DG 3 , . The purpose of the H1 Y organization is 'To create, maintain and extend thr oughout the schools and communlty high standards of Christian character'. During the coming year the members of this organization are to set an example of clean living, clean speech, clean athletics, and clean scholarship.
