This One's for Us! A Year in the Life of PHS students consisted of the Angry Red Band winning their 50th consecutive 1 in marching contest, baseball making it to the Sweet Sixteen and winning bi-district area champs, choir held the annual Red, White and Blue Revue and won sweepstakes, drama competed in contest play in March, and also children's productions, a member of girl's golf won state medalist, art students competed at Scholastic Art contest, Woodworking won first and second place at state, track had regional medalists, FFA won Judging and Leadership Awards and Sweep- stakes, and DECA club won first and second in area competition at Wichita Falls. The combination of it all should make one proud to be a part of A Year in the Life at PHS in 1988. Seniors Jerri Sherley and Veronica Vera demonstrate their domestic ability in Clothing and Textiles. Seniors Pat Nash and Mark Riggins seem to think that they are too cool for school! Junior Roy Kiser chauffeurs the junior varsity cheerleaders in a car caravan to the 1987-1988 Bonfire. The bonfire, October 22, drew an outstanding crowd, such as the PHS Band members and Principal Jerry Don George. Freshmen Dale Ball and Fred Beverage take part in the FFA annual Halloween festivities along with seniors Paul Henderson and Michael Morris. 2 — Student Life
