Willie Ansley Recognized For Overall Contributions Lions Club President and PHS Principal Jerry Don George Senior Willie Ansley receives the LaVerne Roach award for 1988 in recognition of his contributions to PHS. presents Willie Ansley with the LaVerne Roach award at a Special Honors Presentation. Along with being LaVerne Roach runner up, senior Pat Nash also takes home the Most Valuable Player award for Basketball. All district basketball player, Pat Nash receives runner-up for the LaVerne Roach award. 16 — Honors
