To find the most effective way to meet individual needs of each student—this is the goal of the Plainview Board of Education. The seven members of the Board have responsibilities such as levying taxes for the mainte- nance of the school system, set- ting up system-wide policies, making final rulings on matters of long-range importance, and similar decisions. Dr. Glenn Harrison, superin- tendent of schools, is the execu- tive officer of the Board. Under his leadership, high academic standards have been established and maintained.
