Some counselor responsibilities include spending lime with students discussing per- sonal problems, administering and interpre- ting standardized tests, working on class schedules, and similar activities. Deans meet with class councils and plan class activities, handle some of the discipline problems, work with advisory teachers in their grade level, handle absences and tar- dies, and attempt, along with the counselors, to know approximately 1800 students!
