Forward A broken laugh... A thousand memories... .. .And not a single regret.11 These four years at Plainview High School have been our years, yours and mine. There have been good times., .and hard times. Laughter has been ours, and sadness too, but seldom have there been regrets. It's all been a part of a pattern. Looking back, we realize that we have learned and profited from our mistakes... The smiles and the tears helped to make us what we are today. Today... and in time to come... we will always hold dear the memories of the friends we made, along with these experi- ences that have become a very real part of us today. Graduating from high school, we look now to our tommorrows and say I may... I might... I must because of all that Plainview High School has meant. Dedication The 1972 yearbook is dedicated to a teacher who not only does his assigned job very well, but also tries to meet the needs of students as individuals. For us, he is an example of loyalty, of devotion, of dedication to a cause. Additionally, his spirit is that of a man who never gives up. With pride, we, the staff of Plain View ’72, dedicate this yearbook to Coach Bill Phillips. Joining him on the night of Presentation were his family, Cindy, Mrs. Phillips, Vicki, and Keith.
