Coronation Presents 1971-72 Royalty Lords and Ladies wait nervously in the band hall. Relieved lords grace an idle wall. In regal loveliness, Queen Pat Daffem and Princess Debbie Case rule over the royal court of 1971-72. Lords and Ladies were presented by emcees Merry Tom Blake and Margaret Annett, to the background music of organist David Wright. Blaine Smith, president of Student Council, crowned Queen Pat, and Greg Cartwright, president of the Senior Class, presented her scepter. Director of the Coronation was Mrs. Betty McGhee, with Senior Dean Bob Henry assisting. Couples mingle after a night's success.

Homecoming Provides Victory Over Sandies Homecoming highlights were many. Plainview Bulldogs romped over the Amarillo Sandies 20-0. Queen Pat Daffem and Princess Debbie Case circled the football field atop a convertible and were presented roses from the Student Council, while the band formed the name Pat on the field. Students, at the Victory Dance, celebrated to the music of Sun Stone Hawk, which ended the day's activities. Students dance with victory spirit How about some refreshments? . •. Sure!
