Tri-Hi-Y Stages October 9th, 1958, was a giant oak of a day as Classes, clubs, and individuals com- bined talents and efforts to stage their own brand of variety in entertainment. Sponsored by Tri-Hi-Y, the annual Bow- Wow featured solos, dances, pantomimes, and skits. Win- ners for the best individual act were Lynn jones and Mike Bates who gave a political speech. Year Wim spam lfriday mornings at 10:30 found the band assembled, the twirlers in uniform, and students eager to get into another rally. Everything from spncemen and ships to bull fights and torreadors could be found in the gym as rally time drew near. Wfhen November came to 41 close and the big team changed from helmets and jerseys to tennis shoes and basketballs, the Twelfth man could be found still, cheering the cagers to victory. The band played, the twirlers twirled, the cheer- leaders led, and the student body cheered +from September through February for each team as the seasons and the sports changed. i Tell fm, THU
