Perhaps your 1958 PLAIN VIEW will illuminate this past, and will serve as a guide in recalling pleasant memories of this school year. We, of the annual staff, will have achieved our goal if you enjoy this book each time its covers are opened. We hope that in years to come, you will look through these pages and remember a wonderful year. EDITOR -74a,.,,f 'F 0,4 ' Uelaua ' Aeawaau ' ,444 1- ies? Of course, it's harder than previous years at school, but there is no satisfaction like completing something on which one has really worked. juniors have at last attained the ranks of upperclassmen and are enjoying their standing, and looking forward to their Senior year. Also they realize with a shock that three years have whizzed by without their doing all the things which they meant to do. All in all, the junior year is possibly the very best year in High School. Vocational Ag is set up to meet the neecls of the farm boys in PHS who are interested in Agriculture. The four year program set up covers practi- cally every phase of farm work, rang- ing from raising cattle and pigs to farm electrification and management. The boys, 118 strong this year, par- ticipate in stock shows, judging con- tests, plan and carry out projects tlur- ing the year, and by experience learn many things which deal with daily life in farming.
