PRESIDENT VICBPRESIDENT SECRETARY JOHN THOMAS BOYD THOMAS FIELD Lou WATSON Many Iuniors of the class 194344 are pondering over the question of graduaf tion. So much has happened throughout the last year to make us hesitantg however there are many of our class students that find it necessary to graduate this year. Even though the Junior year will be the last year for some students of Plainview High School, it will be one we will all remember. Our school term has been conducted under the Officers of the class. John Thomas Boyd, presidentg Thomas Field, VicefPresidentg Lou Watson, Secretaryg and Mrs. Willie Merle Haithcock, sponsor. They have all done much to make this year a success. In the field of sports Junior boys and girls have been among the first. The Junior class was well represented on the football team, fighting as all Bulldogs do. Three of the five cheer leaders were Juniors and we had some outstanding Iuniors on the Basketball team. We elected Io Ann Alexander and Fillmore Hendrix as the favorites of our class, and Rhoda Mulkey and IO Ann Alexander were chosen as school favorites. The Juniors had two assemblies this year instead of the usual one. They were both enjoyed by everyone. We planned a banquet for the seniors that we hope they will not forget soon. The juniors were given a picnic which we all enjoyed. Our class has gained a name for itself because we always acomplish anything we undertake. We are looking forward to next year when we will undertake the responsibility of the Senior class for we feel certain we are able to carry on and make new traditions for Plainview High School. 1 NG - T Ass. 6 , . , vt Zueu .
