CLASS WILL Know all men by these presents, that we, the seniors of Plainview High School being in good health, of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this, our last will and testament. Miller Needham, who has quite an estate leaves his universal popularity, his football prowess and his manly beauty to anyone who possesses the ability and assets. Virginia Hall bequeaths her come hither look to Janet Green. Norma Wood leaves her perpetual silence to Mary Earle Alexander, who certainly can use it! Charles Martin leaves his darefdevil driving to Joyce Stinnett QDO you prefer roses or lilies, -loyce?J. Eula Mae Sheppard bequeathes her peroxide to Elizabeth Bullock. Raymond Piller wills his title of campus fashion plate and his wardrobe to Dwight Nan-tc. Beulah Faye McDaniel wills her knitting and dimples to Mary Myrtle Knoohuizen. Ted Kirk leaves his daily trips to the office to Crofford Hefflefinger, under the impression that Crofford will carry on. Catherine Tatum is too stingy to leave her brains to any junior-some of them could certainly use them. Clay Johnson wills his physique, his muscles and his vaccination scars to Leon Saul. Dorothy Looper benevolently bequeathes her extra inches to Miss LaRue. Melba and Maxine leave their too, too, beautiful friendship as a symbol of-lwhat? Louise Degge Caskey takes her husband with her-Thank you! Bushrod Thompson donates his Life to the library. Let's hope he can get along without it. Virginia Hall, Edna Lois Myers, Betty Jo Blocksom and Madge Boyd leave their title of Four Fluttering Females to Marjorie Sue Morehead, ,loan Hinds, Mary Earl Alexander and jean Owens. Faola Patton leaves her studies in P. H. S. to herself, she expects to take them up again next year. The Girls Physical Education Class leaves those blue rompers to the coming generation, if they last that long! Douglas Coker would will that one yard more drive power to Winston Barry, but he thinks Red already has it. Sorry, Juniors, but Tom Gardner has nothing you would want. Jean Dement leaves her innocent and modest ways to Billie Louise Whitesides. Betty Cherry wills her possession of that certain thing to Agatha Heavin. Richard Sherley doesn't dislike any junior enough to will him the editorship of the annual. E. B. Mitchell does not think any junior has worked hard enough to deserve his title of Most Outstanding Senior. jeepers, Creepers- Frances Beth Hampton leaves her peepers to anyone who's smart enough to use them, she certainly is. Mary Louise Hooper leaves her temper to Billie Ruth Moore-Oh! Oh! dodge that book, juniors .... Ruth Connelly leaves her ambitions of scholastic attainment to cC21I'l't you guess?j-- Bonnie Faye Goodrich. As we go to press, the seniors are wondering if they will have to leave Billy Lewis behind. Fred Shelton bequeathes his curly locks to Mr. Underwood, but he will keep his big baby blue eyes. Miss Plummer would like to leave the sponsoring of the annual to some one-Whom? Mrs. Horton would like to leave the Junior Class to someone but it's like chewing gum, it sticks forever. Mr. Mills and his debate class leave the Retail Sales Tax problem to 'Governor O'Daniel. Let him figure it out. they couldn't! Mr. Richardson wills the ability to run the senior class to Mr. Richardson-Conceited! l l ! To Mr. Davidson, we leave the juniors, the sophomores, and the freshmen-God help him! To the juniors we leave dear old P. H. S. and all our rights, we hope they will carry the torch of enlightenment and achievement as high as we did. This we make and publish our last will, hereunto, signing, and subscribing our names, this lgth day of May, of the year 1939 in the presence of the student bodyl-The Senior Class 0 1939.
