The degree of pleasurethat we get from this annual depends upon the amount of effort and enthusiasm we put into this yea.r's schooling. I urge each of you to put your best foot forward at all times during these years ofpreparation. The real measure of a person is not what he can do in comparison to others, but what he can do in comparison to his own best self. Iwish to express my appreciation to both the faculty and student body for the very fine work that has been done this school year. As we continue to increase in size, I trust that we shall also grow in determination and effort to receive maximum benefit from our school attendance. Make the most of the best and the least of the worst R. L. Stevenson ,X G. D. Kennedy, Superintendent N Hill! mu -1- ' TO THE STUDENTS OF PLAINS HIGH SCHOOL: Your production of this fine annual deserves the highest congratulations. You are to be com- mended for your efforts to portraythrough this means a view of school life in the Plains Public Schools. Enough credit cannotbe given to the annual sponsors and their staff for the many long, hard hours of work that have gone into making this annual. Because of the high quality of teachers and students, this has been a very happy and successful school year. Never in the history of time has an education meant so much to boys and girls. Because of the complexity ofthe world today, it is necessary that each student reaches a goal far up theladderin education. Ihope that the time spent here in the Plains school will be profitable and well worth while. W 1 I I', 1' K, D. N. Taylor, Principal HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY PAT CASEY BETTY BROOKSHIRE B. J.
