Coffman Dear Friends, Someone has said, Where you are is of no moment, but only what you are doing there. It is not the place that ennobles you. Some of the pupils in this school are inspiring to enter col- lege, others may seek employment in various places after graduation. My sincere hope for you is that you shall seek to ennoble that place of your choosing. We, as teachers, are inter- ested in your future for we think your victories are our victoriesg your defeats, our defeatsg your strength, our strengthg your success, our successg your failures, our failures. Our only excuse for being here in the capac- ity in which we serve is the probability that we ay be helpful to you in interpreting your pro- lems in such a way as to make of you good itizens. Very sincerely yours, Roger Harvey x President Eisenhower made the statement, Only by education can doubt and fear be re- solved. The future of tomorrow is in your hands. We all are aware of the doubt and fear facing many nations today. You, students, have the tremendous task of choosing the road to prog ress and freedom by availing yourselves of every opportunity for educational growth and strengthening of character and faith, or else you may lose your way in the darkness of ignor- rance and selfishness and destroy yourselves and the nation. The Cowboy Staff is to be congratulated on their fine work on the Annual. To the graduating class, may I express the most sincere good wishes and also the hope that you will maintain a close relationship with us and the school after you leave. Good luck, Wayne W .
