Enrolling in Trigonometry! Anne Fishbach (11) What was your worst class? Mrs. Valerugo’s 11A English: Why? ... Subjects and Verbs ugh!!! John Turner (12) What was your worst date? He picked me up: we went out; I came home! Chris Ray (12) What was the strangest thing that happened in the locker room? Baby powder was dumped on someone’s head while they were going to the bathroom! Karen Gunter (11) What was your first experience with make-up? I was a creative 4 year old... mom said! Deb Odegaard (11) What was your worst experience driving? Being 14 and getting 2 tickets for driving under age and over the speed limit. I had to go to court and pay $150. Michelle Paraska (11) Confident, eager, they release old restraints and adjust their talents to achieve the best fit in the space allowed. Momentarily glimpsing possible solutions, they excitedly allow the flow to settle them more deeply into their chosen grooves, anxiously awaiting their chance to flow perfectly together. 6

The sophomores have temporarily found their place. The pieces fit but aren’t quite linked. The anxious and optimistic work steadily to close the gaps, but small spaces still appear where the tentative and unsure hold back. Paula Sossong and Julie Catalanello enjoy each other’s company at the Christmas dance. These girls are all smiles as they cheer on the Wildcats to another victory.
