We, as a school family, are deeply indebted to those who started this fine tradition and also to those who have worked so hard to continue it and bring it to its pres- ent level of excellence. A thank you as well as congratulations on a job well done is also in order for those responsible for the production of the 1968 Plainsman. This publication, in its twenty volumes is and has been the result of fine cooperative spirit and coordinated effort of the educational unit it represents, the Plainfield Community Consoli- dated Schools. To the staff, the student body, the Board of Education, and the community who have helped make it such a well functioning unit, I am deeplyjndebted since it has made my first year as superintendent a collection of pleasant experiences. Pictured herein are the best of the many fine opportunities that are, have been, and will be avail- able to the students of the Plainfield Schools. For the graduation seniors, We can only hope that you have taken full advantage of those that were most meaningful to you, and that you will, as you pursue your life's goals, continue to seek wholesome experiences on the same plane. For those who remain, you are charged with the responsibility of seeking out and becoming involved in those activities that will lend the most to your own educational advancement.
