 It is indeed a privilege for us to make a few brief comments to appear in the 1966 Plainsman. To those of you who shared a major role in its production we say ‘ Thank You” for your efforts. By your hard work this volume of the Plainsman with its theme “Cast of Thousands” has become a reality. With- in the cover of this book is assembled in picture and print the accomplishments, the feelings, and the hopes of a tremendous number of individuals, truly a “Cast of Thousands.” In the future as the script unfolds and each member of the Cast plays his or her role upon the stage of life and human affairs, it is our sincere hope that each of you will find satisfaction, success, and happiness in great abundance. 2 MR. It is true of any organization or institution that there are many people who play an integral part in its make-up who are never recognized. In a school, as in a movie, there is really a “Cast of Thousands7’ who work together to achieve an ultimate goal. This year, the goal of the yearbook staff is to record the efforts of our “Cast of Thousands” in a lasting tribute, the 1966 Plainsman.
