It is a genuine pleasure to have this opportunity to offer my thanks and congratulations to the Staff for the time and efforts they have given to publish this, the fifteenth volume of the Plainsman. The theme “On Stage’ I feel is a particularly fitting one, especially at this time when Education is so much in the spotlight. Each day in this world of more and more technology and automation the value and importance of more and better education is becoming increasingly apparent. The citizens of this School Dis- trict, through their generous and never-ending support, have adequately “Set the Stage” by providing teach- ers, buildings, and the instructional tools. It is our sincere hope that each student will make every effort to take his or her place “On Stage,” that is, to take full advantage of all the opportunities our school has to offer. By doing this each girl and boy will become a happier and more useful individual in society.
