Four short years ago you enter Plainfield High School with the ultimate goal of this day coming to fruition. During your stay, I have been extremely proud of you, for when the odds said that many of you would not succeed, you were able to realize this dream. As you depart this institution, please keep in mind the spirit of togetherness that we attempted to create. These days have been some of the most important days that you will ever live. With this in mind, please keep the message consistently in your head that if you can respect and be true to yourselves, you will in turn to one another. Your feeling of self worth, which we attempted to instill will do much to make you a successful, contributing member of this society. As you have often heard me say that your attitude will determine your altitude, which means how high you will fly in this life. Fly high Seniors of Plainfield High School, don't be tempted to go astray, for today oppor- tunity abounds in this country, but for only those who seek excellence.
