T.-L.C. Child Care The Teaching-Learning Center (T-LC) is a resource center for the Public Schools of Plainfield. The T-TC is located on the ground floor level of the Ninth Grade House at PHS. All the films for the district are to be found there, as well as print, non- print, professional journals, curriculum guides and other material which teachers may persue or borrow for use with their students. The T-LC is used by teachers, parents, administrators and interested citizens. Question: What does the Title I Pre-School Pro- gram contribute to the school system? Answer: The ESEA, Title I Pre-School Program provides educationally needy four and five year old children with a pre-kindergarten experience for one session per day. This experience includes school readiness ac- tivities which prepares pre-schoolers for a successful kindergarten experience. High school students in child care classes also benefit from this program. The Law Page New Jersey State Model Congress 1981 and the Washington Workshops Congressional Seminar took place at Stockton State College and Washington, D.C. respectively. Students of Mr. Pan- none’s Law and Political Action classes participated. At Model Congress, the students took on the roles of Congress- people, while at the Congressional Seminar, PHS representative Derek Young was taught the workings of the national legislative process.
