Foreword Our class of 1976 “has run its course, and for us there is no tomorrow here — only the lingering memories of a happy yesterday.” ' In our four years, there have been failures yet triumphs, work yet play, and the memory of these will never be forgotten. Our class cannot forget that its country will celebrate its two-hundredth anniversary this year. Plainfield is one of the many cities in the United States that is exploring its history. This book will attempt to reflect upon the past and present of our community and our school. We, the MILESTONE Staff, hope that we have helped to recall not only the memories of your friends and your high school days, but glimpses of the past of the community that is ours. Terry L.
