When an artist paints a picture on a can- vas, he begins with an idea which he hopes to portray. We may call this idea his theme. As we paint our picture on these pages, we too have in mind a theme, education. In a sense the faculty may be considered brushes with which we convey this theme to our canvas of words. FACULTY

Principal — During this year of tragedy and turmoil, this class climbed to great heights. It was this year that three students received the highest merit rating in the State of New Jersey. Students made outstanding contributions to science. And the class, as a whole, made great progress in setting standards for the school. As you reflect upon your progress over the past three years, you will remember the day you entered and found a huge building with many winding corridors. As the years passed, you learned how to move through these narrow halls in the proper direc- tion. So it was in life; there were twists and turns which brought both joy and sadness, and as you learned how to get around in the building, you learned how to steer your life toward success. Now you graduate, satisfied that you have been given the necessary tools for life. May you continue to be successful with the use of these tools.
