Polly Conley and Dennis Maxfield did not return, but Robert Wright, who had taken his Sophomore year at Spaulding, returned to our class for his Junior year. About half the class went out for Chorus, and Irene, Bruce, Judie, Noreen and Robert Felix were in Band. Bruce B. , Charles B. , Harold W. , Judie C. , Dianna Dix, Nancy S. , and Noreen Buxton, who was also a cheerleader, went out for basketball. Robert Felix was boys ' and girls' manager and scorekeeper. This year the Juniors sold refreshments at the home games. The Juniors have sponsored a food sale and a dance, both very successfully. At the end of the year, we hope to put on a Prom. Nancy Sinclair, President

MATTUCK Student Council Rep. - - - JUDY CERUTTI Our class lost Vernon Fisher and Phyllis Wheeler at the opening of school this fall but gained Duane wells. we sponsored the Freshman Initiation in October. Prompted by the hula-hoop craze, every member of the freshman class was required to exhibit their use at a signal from the Master of Ceremonies. After a variety of stunts refreshments were served and dancing followed. October 28 members of our class helped to represent P.H. S. at Winooski Valley Festival in Northfield. R. Sinclair, J, Cerutti, S. Vincent, I. Bivens, A. Guazzoni, I. Mattuck and L. Metcalf took part in the chorus and K. Anderson, D. Hudson, D. McKnight and D. Berglund played in the band. Several of our class have made names for themselves in basket- ball and cheerleading: girls, I. Martin, I. Cerutti, A. Guazzoni, I. Mattuckg boys, D. McKnight, D. Berglund, D. Wells, D. Hudson, L.
