Semen Claaa Hratonq .l SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS ARE QLEFT TO RIGI-ITjDav1d Whlted vrce presldent Nan Getchell treasurer ud Powell secretary Don Sharer president Over one hundred members of the Sensor Class of 1959 entered the doors of a new hugh school bulldlng to begin their last year Faithful to tradrton, all seniors wore painted senior cords Mr Melba Haines and her assistants, Mrs Masten and Mr Truax, were the sponsors The class officers for the final year shown above proved to be as successful as selections made in previous years Officers for the lunlor year were Don Sharer, president, Joe Baldwin, vlce president, Sandy Kllngensmlth, secretary, and Nan Getchell, treasurer Officers during the sophomore year were Ronnie Richardson, president, Harry Swarn, vice president, Andy Klingensmith, secretary, and Sue Magee, treasurer. Freshmen officers were Don Sharer, president, Mike Musgrave, vice president, Lynda Leech, secretary, and Joe Baldwin, treasurer. The seniors climaxed a brilliant career in homecoming awards when their float, the Kleenex whale complete with spouting geyser, captured the first place, an honor won by this class for four years. Sandy Klingensmith was elected Fall Prom Queen in the sophomore year, and Judy Pershing was elected Fall Prom Queen in the senior year.
