Freshmen officers were Don Sharer, president, Mike Musgrave, vice president, Lynda Leech, secretary, and Joe Baldwin, treasurer. The seniors climaxed a brilliant career in homecoming awards when their float, the Kleenex whale complete with spouting geyser, captured the first place, an honor won by this class for four years. Sandy Klingensmith was elected Fall Prom Queen in the sophomore year, and Judy Pershing was elected Fall Prom Queen in the senior year. And so throughout this year, the seniors went down the long hall happily, but each had a trace of sadness in knowing that this would be his last chapter of a high school career. 20 A - V yurc s- ,, , , r N , , ' g. u if will-' w f r , if rw . fl 'r X. , L.. 2 A 1, e Q 0'1 .,-q tw af I1 af 3 I 1 if 9-3 ,xxx ss' T' ,,,,-1 ,......,f i CHARLES RICHARD BA RTLEY Cloverdale Hlgh School 1 2 3 Plarn freld Htgh School 4 SYLVIA JEAN BAUER G A A 1 2 3 4 Secretary4 F I-l A 1 2 3 4 Asststant Honor Chapter Charrman 2 CCont1nued on page 293 HERBERT LEE CAIN Football 1 2 3 4 Basketball 1 2 3 4 Track 1 2 3 4 Baseballl 2 3 4 MARILYN KAY CHILCOTE Mooresvllle Hlgh School 1 Plarn fteld Hlgh School 2 3 4 ROBERT EARL CLARK orus 1 B A A 3 3 ence Club 3 4 Honor Soctety 4 NANCY KAY COOPRIDER FHA.... ,. fc?
