Never before has Plainfield boasted of a school record that equals the one made in this last year. Therefore, we feel that it is necessary to devote these lines to the ones who have worked so diligently toward one goal- the success of P. H. S. Mr. A. P. Barlow is Trustee of the Plainfield Schools. He is known to all of us. He is a consistent worker for the school and has done much to bring P. H. S. to the front. ' Mr. A. D. Johnson, Superintendent of the Plainfield Schools, has been with us five years. During those five years, he put forth every effort to bring'P. H S. to the front and he has succeeded. For his un- tiring eiorts, he has as a reward, the honor of having made P. H. S. one of the best Junior and Senior High Schools in the state. Mr. A. J. Stevenson, Principal. This is his first year with us, but everyone in school is his friend. The co-operation with the other members of the Directory, the students, and the community, has won him a place in the heart of everyone. The few lines which we devote to Mrs. Swindler, the Assistant Principal. does not render justice to the appreciated services which she has cheerfully given the school. Always willing to lend a helping hand to those who tried, and always encouraging those who were failing. she has made us all like her. We can never forget her. Sometimes they seem so cruel and mean, But they're not in realitee, Because they're friends to everyone: The High School Facultee. TO much praise cannot be given the members of the P. H. S. Faculty for the wonderful way in which they have conducted the affairs of the school. The success of any school is determined largely by the co- operation that exists between the members of the Faculty and the members of the Student Body. P. H. S. has had for this year, a co-operation between these two factions that meant success. Such spirit existing was due to the will- ingness of each individual of the Faculty to render help to the student when trouble was encountered in the course of study or any other com- plications arising. There comes to us all, a realization, that at times, we have tried the patience of our teachers to the uttermost. When we look back and see how their patience was never lost when We abused some of the pri- vileges given us, it makes the bond of friendship between the Faculty and Students a lasting one. We are glad to take this opportunity to express our thanks and ap- preciation for the services they have rendered us. We trust that the same co operation which has been characteristic of P. H. S this year, will exist between the Faculty and Students of next year.
