Sitzmarkers Placer ' s 1946 ski team is the first since the war began. Placer was fairly well represented in ski meets with several of Placer ' s students placing in several ski meets. Snowbirds Ski enthusiasts of Placer gathered in herds this winter for the first time in over four years, to laugh and frolic on the snow-covered slopes of the Sierras. Slalom, jumping and cross country runs, captured by the teamwork and fellowship of the Placer boys and gals makes the 1947 season one of great promise. President for the year is Marion Nicoson, Placer College; Howard Pyle, vice-president, high school, and Peggy Warner, secretary-treasurer, Placer College.
