Brass and Doughs Military instruction for Placer ' s cadets, members of Company C, Third Battalion, Fourth Regiment of the California High School Cadets, was given this year during the fourth period, under the direction of Major Earl Crabbe. The organization was limited to 50 students. Half of class time is devoted to military drill, etc., with the other half devoted to marksmanship instruction. Lieutenant Frank Bonito is in charge of all marksmanship instruction. The corps of officers included: Captain Tom Jackson, First Lieutenant Charles Wing, Second Lieutenant Jack Kennon, and a number of non-commissioned officers.

Spring semester: Jeanne Martinelli, president; Mary Shanley, vice-president; Betty Harms, secretary; Billie, Lardner, treasurer.
