Beat Me, Daddy Jiving in a solid groove, the modern orchestra, under the direction of Otto Fox, started the year out right by giving a spring assembly on March 22. They also played at two different occasions in Weimar Sanatorium, and at the open house held during Public Schools Week, April 12. Tyler ' s Terpsichore After a lapse of four years, the Dance Department has been reorganized. The interest was so great, that a dance class of over fifty girls was organized and presented a dance review. Demonstrations by the classes were given for Public Schools Week and a bus was taken to Sacramento to see the Ballet Theatre. Through the study of dynamic eurythmics, special relations and music interpretations, dance appreciation and creative ballets by the girls themselves are the objectives of the department. f

De Mob Besides their individual activities, the Sophomores pave their annual Soph-Senior Dance on March 15. The theme of which was Spring Fever. Their class officers for the first semester were: Peter Catlin, president; Harriet Huntley, vice-president; Betty Harrison, secretary; Gloria Cunningham, treasurer. Second semester officers were: Robert Fuller, president; Richard Merz, vice-president; Lorraine Daragnez, secretary; La Marr Lyles, treasurer. ,

GrGEnhorns The Freshman Class was formally initiated into the Hill Clan on October 12 by the Senior Class. The Prehistoric era was the theme for the day. Class officers for the entire year were: ' Warren Dominquez, president; David Day, vice-president; Barbara Waters, secretary, and Billie Lardner, treasurer.
