n n [JM. f Tf 1 ♦ fT a ' j i ' i; Songsters The Placer A Cappella Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Francis Latimer, will sing at the combined Placer College and Placer Union High School baccalaureate services this spring. They sang for the patients at DeWitt Hospital, and at Weimar Sanatorium, and for the Placer student body. The officers for the entire year are: John Harms, president; Bill Landis, vice-president; Ann Edwards, secretary-treasurer. Brass, Booms and Babes Playing during assemblies, games, and all student body rallies, the band has done much to raise school spirit. Under the direction of Otto Fox, the band will give its annual concert in May. Those students receiving band pins for three consecutive years of service are: Grace Braz, Jean Chesbro, Leslie Orr, and Sam Rollins.

Last Lap The Junior class presented its annual Junior Prom in honor of the Seniors on May 5, with the theme of the evening being Fairyland Fantasy. Mrs. Helene Lee is faculty ad- visor for the class. Officers for the fall semester were: Robert Forson, president; Betty Pomeroy, vice-president; Rae Pyle, secretary; and Jeanne Martinelli, treasurer. Spring semester officers were: Glen Ray, president; Melba Sills, secretary; Lois Jackson, treasurer, and Gene Scott, sergeant-at-arms. .. « 9K ' ' £ ' ' ?9

De Mob Besides their individual activities, the Sophomores pave their annual Soph-Senior Dance on March 15. The theme of which was Spring Fever. Their class officers for the first semester were: Peter Catlin, president; Harriet Huntley, vice-president; Betty Harrison, secretary; Gloria Cunningham, treasurer. Second semester officers were: Robert Fuller, president; Richard Merz, vice-president; Lorraine Daragnez, secretary; La Marr Lyles, treasurer. ,
