Inner Sanctum The house of Harold filled with capable and willing students under the guidance of its two able presidents and with the aid of Harold M. Weaver, Vice-Pri ncipal, and Harold E. Chastain, Principal, succeeded in accomplishing many worth while measures for the as- sociated students. Among the most important innovations were the issuance of honorary student body cards to teachers, and the purchasing of a new phonograph for the student body use. 5 en or s The Big Operators The Senior Class sponsored the annual Freshman Initiation and Reception on October 12, the theme being: Prehistoric Hillman, The Senior Ball, which is being planned for May 3, and the annual Senior Play day, will conclude four colorful years in Placer by the grad- uating Seniors. As the door of the Placer Union High School closes for the last time on the Class of ' 46, each one will remember with gratitude, the fact that for the first time in over four years it has been possible to use school transportation to go to school games, skiing and to see the sketch of a swimming pool for the twin schools. Class officers for the first semester were: Tony Rocha, president; Jack Landis, vice president; Allalee Sands, secretary; Savann ah Williams, treasurer. Second semester: Joe Beck, president; Spencer Maze, vice president; Alma Cavigli, secretary, and June Teagarden, treasurer.
