Homecoming this year was differ- ent. First of all, we had a traditional assembly. The creative theme was Somewhere Down The Road . Ev- eryone showed their class pride during the week. Unfortunately, due to the rain, we could not celebrate the magi- cal moment during half time on the field. The assembly was held in the gym after the game. JR. RING This year the class of 85 experienced a unique and successful Junior Ring Cere- mony. Fr. Campion explained to the Ju- niors the meaning of their rings. For the Junior class it symbolizes unity and friendship, but for each individual it re- presents memories of the good and bad times. It also means the Junior class is no longer underclassmen. The class added extra touches to their ceremony, such things as reciting a poem which was writ- ten by Angela Hobbs, and the singing of our class song, Out Here On My Own, by Jenni Garcia and Angelica Bravo.
